Who are we?
We are a family-run business based in Scarborough, UK. We
like jewellery, but jewellery with a difference. We have just fallen
in love with New Zealand jewellery - paua shell jewellery, beautifully
carved Maori bone pendants and the very unique greenstone carvings.
Delivery time
We usually have all items in stock, however, when you add
an item to the basket, it will indicate, whether it is in stock or
not and approximate delivery times. Items in stock are usually dispatched
within 1 - 3 days and should reach you within 3 - 4 days, depending
on the efficiency of the Royal Mail.
Items that are currently out of stock might have a delay of upto 2 weeks, this
is because we order our jewellery from around the world, which naturally increases
delivery times.
If there are longer delays, we will contact you and you can then decide, whether
you are happy to wait just that little bit longer, choose an alternative design or whether you wish
to cancel your order.
Delivery cost
We do charge for packaging & postage. In return, we keep our prices at
affordable levels. We send all items by recorded delivery, to Europe as Internationally
signed for. This ensures a swift service, but also offers the security we want
to give our jewellery. We currently charge £1.90 for deliveries inside
the UK, £5.50 for delivers to Europe, £6.50 for deliveries to
the USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia and other countries outside Europe.
Tax
Any tax, value added tax, customs & excise charges are your responsibilty
and have to be covered by you.
Prices
Prices are subject to change without notice, although we try our best to keep
prices steady and affordable at all times.
Cancellations/Returns
Whatever reason for return (cancellation
or faulty item), do not return anything without having contacted
us before!
You have the right to cancel your order. We will refund the
order total minus 10% admin fee. If your order has already been shipped
and you return it to us, it must be done within 7 days of receipt,
in the original packaging, unused. The return is at your cost and we
will only refund the original cost minus 10% admin fee & our postage
cost.
We cannot accept returns for earrings, unless faulty, due to hygiene reasons.
We personally inspect all items before shipping, so you should not receive
any faulty items. However, if this should happen due to an oversight, we will
of course accept returns of items that are faulty. In such a case, please contact
us by e-mail within 14 days of receipt of the faulty item. Postage & insurance
cost for returns are your responsibilty. We recommend that you send items via
recorded or special delivery. You can choose to receive a replacement, if we
can get one, or to get a refund. This refund would be the total cost of your
original purchase.
As jewellery is subject to wear & tear, we can, unfortunately, not accept
returns after 30 days of shipping.
Please retain proof of postage
until we have confirmed receipt of your return.
Our jewellery
The findings in our jewellery (where applicable)
is made from .925 Sterling Silver.
We do not accept responsibilty, if you should be allergic to any of the materials
in our jewellery.
Paua shell, Black pearl shell and Greenstone (jade/pounamu) are natural substances/materials,
which can vary in colour and pattern considerably. Please do under stand that
we cannot photograph every individual product and that the product you receive
may look different to the one shown on our site.
Paua shell can range from blue to green and even gold/red fire-like. Greenstone
ranges from a very dark green to lighter shades, sometimes with white mineral
deposits, which the Maoris compared to the clouds above New Zealand.

Privacy & Security
The only personal details we need from you are your title,
full name & address. Please note, that if you ask us to deliver
to an alternative address, we may contact you or conduct extra security
check as part of our policy on on-line fraud prevention.
Once you have entered your address details and choose to proceed to checkout,
you will be re-directed to WorldPay,
an independent and secure Internet payment gateway, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland plc. This is
a completely secure site, which means, all information you
send to
this
site,
is encrypted using 128-bit encryption, the industry standard for dealing with
sensitive information, so there is absolutely no risk in entering your card
details.
We currently accept all major credit cards and debit cards.
We do not share, sell or pass on any of your personal information to any third
party. We will not contact you unless you have asked us to. We do not send
flyers in the post, or weekly/monthly "Hot offer" e-mails. We do
not run advertising campaigns by mail, e-mail, fax or phone. We respect your
privacy. We would, however appreciate, if you recommended us to friends & relatives,
indeed anybody, who might like our unusual jewellery as much as we do!
